Faeries and the Sylvian Fissure
“Sylvian fissure” is a name for the gap between the frontal and temporal lobes in the human brain. For some reason I always associated “Sylvian,” with sylphs and faeries and things, but since I knew that the feature was named for some guy (“Franciscus Sylvius”) I assumed that my association was erroneous.
