I was quite pleased to wake up today to find that my sister’s boyfriend left me some Laoshan tea. Naturally I brewed a pot the moment I was sure that it was mine.
My recommended brewing instructions:
2.5 tsp tea leaves
600 mL 80°C filtered water
3-4 minutes
pre-warmed teapot
It has a vegetal flavor with strong grassy hints and a beany aftertaste. Surprisingly “chocolate-like”. I may have to make this one of my regular teas.
